Missionary to Politician?
30 years in business - then 13 years in mission and medical work in Cameroon - then politician? How’s that work?
It is service. My calling is to serve others when and where needed. That’s why I traveled to Cameroon 26 times. That’s why we did medical outreach trips to remote areas of Cameroon. That’s why I built 2 radio stations in Cameroon. That’s why I ran for City Council in Seal Beach.
And, that’s why I’m running for the California Assembly. To serve others in something bigger than myself.
The Bible tells us “let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9
It also tells us in Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” California is groaning under one-party rule.
The most important thing to know about me is that my life is guided by my faith. As a Christian, I believe in service to humanity. I will work hard to improve life for all the people I seek to represent. I am humbled by the opportunity to make a contribution to create a safer, more free and more prosperous California.
