NATHAN STEELE
MISSION-DRIVEN / BUSINESS TOUGH
-
California roots
Nathan was born in Redding, California — the son of a preacher who drove an ambulance on the side just to keep the lights on. By high school, he was living in Ecuador as a missionary kid, learning Spanish and witnessing firsthand what happens when socialism goes wrong — how bloated governments and broken economies trap good people in poverty and despair.
-
A young 'rock and roll' Republican
After high school, Nathan hit the road — literally — touring the country in a rock band. When the tour ended, he funded college the hard way: working midnight shifts as a Rock & Roll DJ, spinning records on both AM and FM radio. No handouts. No shortcuts. Just hustle.
-
Trained on Trading Floors, Not Twitter Threads
Nathan started his finance career as a stockbroker and quickly earned a reputation for spotting breakout companies — including Microsoft — before they made headlines. He racked up seven securities licenses, analyzed small-cap companies, and earned a spot on the floor of the Chicago Options Exchange — one of the toughest, fastest-paced trading pits in the world. He did so well he was asked to help set up Spain’s Options Exchange in Madrid.
-
Business & Balance Sheets
He went on to play a key role in a corporate strategy firm, training executive teams at companies like IBM, EDS, and Microsoft. traveled to 33 countries, trained thousands of executives, wrote a business book, and launched two radio stations.
-
A Mission to Serve
Nathan keeps his faith at the center of his life. He devoted time in Cameroon supporting Christian missionaries and medical missions, working in one of the most dangerous regions of Africa — where Boko Haram has targeted Christian communities with violence. He helped raise over two million dollars to help those missionaries continue their important work.
-
FIGHTING FOR OUR COMMUNITIES
Today, Nathan lives in Seal Beach with his wife Patty. When local conservatives saw his values and leadership, they asked him to run for City Council. He won, and ever since he’s been fighting for local control and common sense against Gavin Newsom’s far-left insanity.
Because Sacramento already has enough performers.
Nathan Steele has actually run something. He isn’t another attention-seeking politician looking for likes. He’s a man of faith, grit, and real accomplishment — someone who knows how to build businesses, balance budgets, and who will defend the values that once made America – and California - great.
Anyone Can Make Noise. Nathan Steele Makes Sense.
